3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
I realized over the weekend that I will be in town for the big fall stamp camp event. During lunch there is a card swap. I signed up and then remembered the card swap. I have a surplus of odd sized white cardstock that I've wanted to do something with. This was the perfect opportunity to use it up! I used the stamps and dies from Stampin Up!'s Oh So Succulent bundle. I came up just short of materials for my goal of 20 cards. 19 will do. I found a CAS design that has a predominantly white base. Here's the Pinterest pin I used for inspiration. Note: I am so sad that this bundle is no longer available. I ordered it while I was traveling but did not receive it until September, it retired on May 31st. So I just had to use this great bundle at least once!
I had limited time and supplies on hand to work with so I removed the ribbon, the second layer on the sentiment, dropped the two layer base mat and only used two brown spiky plants(refer to the Pinterest link above to see what I removed). I spent about eight hours over two days getting these done. I first embossed the wood grain on 4" x 8 1/2" leftovers and trimmed off the extra which was then used to stamp and die cut 19 large, 19 medium, 19 small succulents. I then made 19 party balloon looking plants, 19 long dangly grapes and 38 brown spiky plants. Five of those sets of 19 were two part stamps (half way through I was seriously questioning my choice!).
When all was said and done, I decided they needed some sort of pop. I'd already dropped the ribbon and the colored mat for the base. I added three sizes of pearls in the center of each plant. Whew, that was a gauntlet. Remember I am working in an RV with very limited space. Here's some pics of my assembly line.
Stampin' Up! Colors used:
Pool Party and Soft Sky (two of these I tried the brighter Island Indigo, but then stuck with the original plan) I edged the large plant in Wisteria Wonder - large and party balloon plant
Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi - medium and small plant
Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzazz or Early Espresso and Chocolate Chip - dangling grapes plant (the longest one)
Early Espresso - spiky plant and sentiment
I did spend a little time making variations but I was so short on time I had to stick with the original colors or I would never have finished in the time I had. I also took this opportunity to use up some of my 3m adhesive supplies that I am phasing out.
I think they came out nice!
I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Where I used to work there is a free table. All sorts of items get put on this table and about 5...
Like the Stampin' Up Rhinestones, the pearls start at a very small size which I like more than...
