Publish Date:

Here's my final saying goodbye video for the outgoing January through June mini catalog! I would have loved to do more projects and I especially wanted to get to some coloring but there were a couple of more urgent projects to be completed by 7/1. I talk about those in the video as well as walkthrough three projects! I already have a sneak peek video queued up with some fun holiday catalog...

Winter Is Coming Wednesday - #17 | Tracy Marie Lewis |

We have traveled to the Washington coast. The weather is fabulous here but will be rainy off and on for the rest of our stay. We are just north of Ocean Shores and will be moving south along the coast through the winter if all goes according to our plans.

This week's card is a rare fancy fold. The front wood pattern dsp is trimmed to 4 x 5 1/4" with a square cut out at 3/4" down from...

DIY Temporary Tail Light Cover | Tracy Marie Lewis |

When we setup camp in Kansas I noticed our right tail light cover was missing on the fifth wheel. We'd checked our lights in the am, so it had parted ways with us at some point between Nebraska and Kansas. We'd already designated a day of rest while in Kansas to shop and do laundry, so Hub added this to our shopping list. We already had clear and black Gorilla tape on hand.

The top of...

DIY - Fix To Our Fan Blower Motor In The Truck $19.99

Publish Date:

Our initial fix to the intermittent fan blower problem in the truck stopped working in March. The blower would work most of the time, then some of the time, then not at all. I made a quick video showing the parts and where they live in the truck. Hub installed a new fan blower motor just because. He also has a backup Ignition switch and Ignition switch connector. Video length 3 min 2 sec.

Seventeen Year Tenant Moves Out | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Prior to hitting the road we were hands-on landlords. It was difficult to be on the road and see the costs for various repairs that we would do if we were home. Budget-wise we have been able to weather some extensive repairs and still pay all the bills. Now that we find ourselves at home, we let the PM handle the day to day repairs. However, it is in our best interest to be involved with...

DIY - Perler Bead Enamel Dots Embellishments Final Thoughts | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I spent the weekend with my mom making the rest of our DIY dots. Not all of them,  but we made sure to bake some of every color from the brights and neutrals. Then we analyzed what colors we wanted more of for next time and finally we had to fine tune our storage options. On the way to her house, I stopped at the dollar store and grabbed a couple of the 14 slot pill containers. This style is...

Since I lost all of my crafting supplies in a trailer accident, it was time to make more DIY dots. This time I had a co-hort to make them with me, my mom. We bought the bright Perler Bead assortment pack at Hobby Lobby and the neutrals I bought on Amazon. I do have a link to a supplier with great pricing below. I chose Amazon so I could get them in one day. These make a great handmade looking...

DIY - Adding LED Strip Lights To Our Kitchen Slide | Tracy Marie Lewis |

We made our trailer festive for Christmas. We brought in some LED lights and draped them over our kitchen slide. They have countless settings and we set them to a fun rotation of christmas colors. The next day we set them to one light and wow did we like them and decided to use them all the time...I made a short video documenting this quick DIY project that really enhances the lighting inside...

2018 Hobby And Web Funding - Final Preparations

Red Bubble Prancing Horse Mug | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I enjoy crafting and creating content for the web. Unfortunately neither of these hobbies are free. I told myself and hub that I would take 2017 off, which I "mostly" did. You likely know that at the end of June I became a Stampin' Up demonstrator. I have engaged in side businesses since 1992 so I know that it takes time to grow a business. I joined SU six months before I planned to earn some...
