Sneak Peek - Aged Happy Birthday Flower Card

Publish Date:
Lilies Aged Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This is a sneak peek of a technique I have been working on. I have created a video tutorial that will be going live on February 13th.

I love aged, distressed projects and it has been a very long time since I've even attempted to make a paper project aged. In fact, after I lost all of my craft supplies and replenished with Stampin' Up! supplies, it just hadn't crossed my mind. Everyone knows the main brand that favors aged, distressed projects and I lost all of it!

But, I am here to tell you that Stampin' Up!'s current product line makes AWESOME aged projects as you can see here with this sneak peek...

I used the following Blends:
Real Red light and dark
Flirty Flamingo light and dark
Petal Pink light and dark
Balmy Blue light and dark
Color Lifter

That is all I will reveal now, however all of the supplies I used are listed below. I will tell all on the 13th in my Colour Combo blog hop video. You can subscribe to my mail list in the top right bar. If you only want my crafting articles, feel free to check that box only and you will not miss the video.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!

I love your aged look to this card. And yes I agree sometimes it's difficult to get that look with SU rather than TH but it is possible and it's one of my favourite styles. I'll be interested in your tutorial next week. Thanks for joining us at SUO Challenges this week.

Love the distressed blue and all the details. Great Birthday card..

This card is so beautiful. I can't wait to see how you created it. I love that shabby chic look with the crackle background. It is so on trend! Thanks for joining us this week at SUO Challenges.

Hi, How do i follow your blog? I don’t want to miss out on the crackle background and flowers tutorial.

Ann, That is a very good question. I use Mail Chimp. Here is the link:

You can choose stamping or camping, or both. There is also a subscribe button on the top of the right information bar.

Bear with me with the somewhat wiggly camera as I live in a fifth wheel. When one person moves, we all move!

I love all the distressed edges and the little hint of lace peeking out from under the lilies. Beautiful card! Thanks for playing along in the flower challenge at SUO Challenges!

You are a true artist. I now look at these flowers in a different way. Just gorgeous!

A great BlogHop project! Thank you for the inspiration.
Until the next BlogHop.
Greetings from Leipzig.
