Retiring - Bright Floral Blooms For You Card

While crafting with my mom this week, I spent one afternoon focusing on a beautiful retiring DSP "Perennial Essence". This card uses two sheets with the same design, one small and the other large. I used the small floral pattern for the background, dry embossing it with the subtle embossing folder. Then I cut a focal image of a large flower and dry embossed it with the Country Floral 3D embossing folder. I picked out a variety of pink faceted gems out of the From My Heart gem collection. These make the perfect embellishment for such a beautiful card.

I enjoy the look of the large stitched frame die cut when it is torn and rolled back, so I had to do it one last time to say goodbye. 

This is my favorite card of the ten I made with her. I love everything about it.

What is not retiring in this project: cardstock, inks, seam binding ribbon, subtle embossing folder, dimensionals

Alas, I see that the Lakeside dies (sentiment label) has already sold out so is no longer available. We will see more of this as it gets closer to June 3rd. This is a good time to point out that if you want something that is retiring, you should NOT delay or it will be gone forever!

Very pretty card love the color and the pearl accents. Colors are soft and beautiful.
