3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
I've made it through day thirteen of the 30 day coloring challenge! I could never have done this while working, it is hard enough to do while retired. I am amazed at how busy I am, but I have to remind myself that I am in a "tweener" state, getting ready to embark on a long journey so we are doing some very big things, like preparing our vehicles to sell, organizing our storage, putting stuff in storage, re-packing our trailer, and now starting this week is our final prep so we can hit the road before the end of the month.
I have our journey on my mind so I made us some appropriate wall art. I made the background awhile ago using distress inks, and a new set of Holtz stencils Mini Set 15. It is a travel set with three stencils: Words, Arrows and Tire tread. I used all three stencils. The base background color is distress ink Antique Linen with Hickory Smoke used for stenciling. I then used texture paste for more arrows and some circles. The trailer is from Stampin' Up. I used my floral tools to round the trailer. I had a hard time trying to capture the rounding in an image, but it shows up much more rounded in real life. The sentiment is from the same Stampin' Up set. I cut out an arrow shape. The trailer and sentiment were fussy cut (yes, no dies available for this set) colored with Memento London Fog and Copic Sketch Markers. I used a distress tool on the edge of the paper and then sponged more Hickory Smoke around the edges.
Copic Sketch Markers Used:
Trailer: E40, E41, E42, E43, E81, C1, C2, C3, Y11
Tire: N4, N6
Distress Inks Used - on background: Antique Linen, Hickory Smoke
A funny point to note: I am a long time trailer hauler and it makes me giggle seeing the diamond plate on the "back" of the trailer. Diamond plate goes on the front of a trailer to protect against rock dings. My horse trailer had it and I was grateful! It doesn't do much protecting in the back of a trailer...Comment if you don't agree:)
