I finally finished the last of the Dashing Deer I had left to work with. Each is unique so I will list them all here. I created the final four as masculine cards. So there will be minimal embellishments on all of them.

The first is one of my favorites. The sentiment is from Wishing You Well. It was cut out using a smaller label die from Stitched All Around and the cardstock is Sahara...

Happy Holidays Dashing Deer Card Front | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

This card is unique so I will present it solo. I intended to move on to another theme of card fronts however, while prepping materials I found five more dashing deer cuts hiding in my stash. I've kitted these up and will finish and present them next.

I decided to use the smaller deer who is looking back over his shoulder. I have him looking at the copper glimmer paper Holiday Greetings...

Copper On Copper Dashing Deer | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

It is time to talk about the copper foil leaping deer fronts. I made three of these. The first is copper on copper. As part of creating a set of materials to work with I die cut copper, silver and white snowflakes, leaving the negative sheet available to be used as a background. I chose the copper background and layered vellum with the large Stitched All Around label under the copper deer. I...

Dashing Deer With Snow | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

This next set of fronts uses the filigree pattern deer stamp.  I stamped these in two colors: Merry Merlot and Soft Suede. The first card started out as masculine and I was not going to add any embellishments but I determined that the stamp's pattern makes it more feminine. I die cut a bunch of white snowflakes from the Beautiful Blizzard set and used a few here with the metallic sequins....

Wood Textures Leaping Deer Fronts | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

I made great progress on swaps today! I finished the deer layouts I had prepped over the last couple of days. That brings my completed count to ten. I will reveal them in groups by deer die. Today's two use the Wood Textures DSP and the leaping deer die.

The first front started with a practice piece of Whisper White. I liked it well enough to put it in my to be used container. I was...

Card Front One | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

After traveling over four thousand miles from Washington state to Florida for OnStage, I now MUST get my swaps done. I am not a good repetition crafter, I pretty much fail in that department. So, in order to keep this fun for me I am going to blog all of my projects I make to swap. I will be making card fronts, so their final size will be about 4" x 5 1/4" so all that is left is to adhere them...

October 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Today I am hopping with the Kre8tors blog hop group. We were challenged to use at least three of the listed colors as well as be inspired by the provided image. I knew immediately that I would be using the Rooted In Nature Bundle, but did not know what I wanted to make, I sort of let the project create itself with some input from my husband. Included below is a short video illustrating how I...

Orlando Thousand Trails - Like No Other TT!

I am so happy with our decision to stay at the Orlando Thousand Trails. We are already scheduled to be here in November, but we needed a place to escape from Hurricane Michael and this was the furthest south and east we could get in our driving window of four to six hours. It was six and a half hours if you avoided the toll road, just over six hours if you went on it. Because we tend to drive...

October 2018 Stamp 'N Hop | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Welcome to the October Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. This month we are getting a jump start on Christmas cards. I just finished a two week long trek from Washington state down to Florida so it is hard to think about Christmas with all of this warm weather. We did have to shorten our schedule and skip driving through Georgia due to hurricane Michael. Instead we high tailed it down to Orlando to miss...
