This is a good example of a casual crafter project. The Black Washi tape is very striking and is what gave me the idea to stamp the sentiment to match. I then applied the layers to a black base and voila, project done!

This is such an easy card to make yet it looks like alot of work went into it. The watercolor background is Soft Sea Form ink applied with an aqua painter. Though it appears to be a tone on tone project, it does also have three other colors. The mermaid is StazOn black. The sand and shells were stamped last in Soft Suede. And the sentiment is Night of Navy. White sequins finish the project off...
I bought this particular set without knowing exactly how I would use it. I don't know any Koi fish lovers but I personally love the new DistINKtive red rubber stamps. These stamps are created with pixels that control the color intensity. Being able to stamp one time and have the image show varying color depts is such an awesome concept to me. I decided to share the top two Christmas swaps. I was able to photograph over 450 swaps by combining my swaps as well as my two team mates swaps.
