For this second Newton project I cut an oval frame for him out of the rest of my red paper scrap.

I wanted to frame Newton on an oval this time. Oval dies are a funny lot. Each set has a different width which means I own many more oval sets as the other basic shapes due to the variation in width. For this card I chose to cut a wider oval with a x stitch edge that I have the matching x stitch rectangle set. I used the rectangle to cut the striped paper background.

The next scrap I used was of the turquoise glitter paper. I cut it to look like glittery ribbon. The sentiment "meowry christmas" was stamped using memento tuxedo black and then I cut it out using a Simon Says Stamp 3d ribbon die. I used the scrap striped paper left over from my first Newton project. I then added icy looking sequins to finish it off.
