This is a very easy stamp to use. I fell in love with Penny Black's Hidden Path red rubber stamp. It is a 5 x 7 so for my A2 card size I was able to choose what portion of the image I wanted to incorporate into my project. I inked with four different distress inks, then I spritzed the stamp to diffuse some of the color. I placed my paper face down on the stamp and rubbed the surface carefully, lifting it off once complete.

I then cut two thin 1/16" mats, in evergreen and brown. For the sentiment I cut the words Winter Wishes in green, brown and white scraps and layered them together, with white on top. My only complaint on this card is that I made the large deciduous tree too green for winter. I should have left it off. I will fix that for the next one.

A quick tip for space saving. Because I now live in a trailer, I buy cardstock in either 8 1/2 x 11 or 12 x 12 and cut them immediately into A2 sized chunks (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 or 4 x 6) and store them in long skinny boxes that I can fit on either side of my fireplace. All of the storage I have is either long and skinny or tall and shallow. I pretty much have zero room for full sized cardstock. So far this has worked very well for me.

Distress Ink colors used: Forest Moss(evergreen trees), Peeled Paint (deciduous tree), Weathered Wood (snow), Walnut Stain (fence)
