Cupcake Birthday Card For My Hubby | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

My husband is my toughest customer. He likes bold color, clean lines and no fussy embellishments. So this is what I made him for his birthday last week. I kept the colors simple. It is a chocolate cupcake with light blue icing and a red candle. I framed it with a Gina marie's X stitched die and then double matted it with blue and red mats. No sparkle, no bling. It was very hard to stop it right there:)  I created a second cupcake and candle and popped them up on top of the base cupcake with dimensionals.

I colored it with Copics, but because I was being sneaky while he sat across from me (our new space is VERY small) I was quick about it and did not log my Copic markers for this project.

It passed his inspection! Yay:)

I am entering this project in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.
