We Finally Have A Clear Favorite!

Beautiful Fall Colors At Leavenworth RV Campground | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

After staying at fifteen different Thousand Trails resorts we finally have a clear favorite... Leavenworth RV Campground. It could be the time of year, which is fall and the colors here are spectacular. It is definitely the disc golf course even though we both threw our favorite drivers into the lake and could not recover them. It is so quiet here you can hear a pin drop which is also lovely. There is a distinct smell of pine in the air that is unique to the Eastern Washington side of the mountains that we love.

The roads are well maintained and are pothole free. The buildings are older of course but look in good repair. The cell service here varies but more often than not it is good enough for streaming and online games. We haven't figured out the trigger for when the service slows to molassas, it could be the traffic or the clouds. There are five miles of trails around the park which combined with a round of disc golf make our daily exercise goals easy to achieve. I so badly want to stay the full three weeks, but alas we have a tight schedule to keep with reservations made through January so a longer stay will have to wait until next fall.

It is very, very cold at night this time of year but we've kept our fireplace and one space heater going full blast to reduce the amount of propane used to stay warm. We ate lunch at the Old Mill Cafe today, we both had Pot Roast Dips with fries. It was the best dip and fries I've ever had, and I've had alot of dips and fries over the years. If you are looking for a fall colors adventure and have a TT membership please get to Leavenworth, you will love it!

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!

Sounds lovely maybe next year would be nice to visit if you go back. Glad to hear your enjoying the fall colors. Stay warm and enjoy!
