Paper Pumpkin is my all time favorite Stampin' Up! product, and that says alot because I love all of Stampin' Up!'s products.

During this very stressful time where family and friends cannot be in close proximity, a card with a note of encouragement can help fill that gap.

The April Paper Pumpkin is going to be a family/friend oriented all inclusive stamp kit containing all you...

Retiring In Colors Showcase - Pineapple Punch Bee Birthday Card - Lost File

Retiring - Pineapple Punch Bee Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

I cannot believe that I forgot to publish this article. Pineapple Punch is one of my favorite retiring 2020 in colors. I used the same daisy foil (which is free through the end of today - March 31) for my Call Me Clover card as well.

This card uses the honeycomb and bee dies from the Mini catalog's Honey Bee bundle. I colored a variety of the small daisies using light and dark Pineapple...

Good evening all! Today I've joined the NC (North Carolina) Demos blog hop for March. This month is a showcase of the 2020 retiring in colors. I am so sad to see them go as they are a grouping of bright cheery colors! If you joined me from Ariel's blog, I hope you enjoyed her project, and if you are joining now, welcome to the hop!

Currently my husband and I are staying in Washington...

Mountain Air Masculine Birthday Card

Mountain Air Masculine Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This masculine birthday card was pretty quick to make. I like how it came out. It was made for my step father so no embellishments were used (he is a no nonsense type of guy).

To create the lake effect, I stamped the actual mountains first, then the lake mountains are just stamped off upside down leaving space enough for the green trees stamp. The Blue lake effect is the bottom half of...

Retiring In Colors Showcase - Call Me Clover Floral Birthday Card

Call Me Clover Floral Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

As I was rummaging through my Call Me Clover cardstock, I found a leftover holiday dry embossed background that has had copper applied to it. Since this foil dsp has copper/rose gold and silver I thought I would see if it was a match, and boy was it!

I took a deep breath and crumpled the foil in to a ball a couple of times, tore the edges and applied dimensionals under it in places to...

Eleven Alternatives - March 2020 Paper Pumpkin - No Matter The Weather

Alternatives - March 2020 Paper Pumpkin - Easter Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This month's Paper Pumpkin is one of the great ones! I know many folks might not appreciate the golashes/rain/muck/barn boots, but growing up with horses I lived in them in the winter. I lost my original muck boots in our trailer accident and replaced them with a taller pair because they are truly the most comfortable boots of that kind I've ever had. Ironically the brand is "Muck". Most feed...

Retiring In Colors Showcase - Blueberry Bushel Batique Waves Birthday Card

Now this card was so, so easy to make. I took more time fussing over ideas than actually cutting and assembling. I am quite the slow crafter and I had all the bits ready to go in under fifteen minutes, including the fussy cut sentiment!

I love how a strong pattern DSP can carry the weight of a card for those times when I don't have much time to create a fancy card. Some would argue that...

Retiring In Colors Showcase - Grapefruit Grove Floral Birthday Card

Grapefruit Grove Floral Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This second card is alot like the first. To change it up, this card is horizontal, and it uses the scalloped border (yesterday's used the negative of this border). I kept the sentiment simple and think I could have added a mat or two like yesterday's card, but I wanted to show that it also works to keep sentiments small and simple.

I did use a different technique to color the foil...

Lovely Lipstick Monochromatic Floral Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

This week I will showcase a monochromatic card in each of the five retiring in-colors. These colors are: Lovely Lipstick, GrapeFruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover and Pineapple Punch. Four of the five cards use the SAB Flowering Foils DSP which is free with a $50 purchase.

Today's card uses Lovely Lipstick ink sponged on with a small dauber. The thin dsp strip is from another...

Here's A Card You Would Not Likely See Me Make - You Are Fabulous Card With Heels & Purses

Purses & Shoes Fabulous Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Libby and I are not what you would call fashionistas or glamourus dressers. Speaking for myself, I haven't worn heels since before I was married (30 years ago in May). So when Libby suggested we challenge ourselves to make cards from this particular DSP, I thought well this will definitely be a challenge.

In the end it wasn't that bad. The colors and layouts on the DSP is nice enough...
