September 2018 Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop - Holiday Catalog

Welcome to the September Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. My name is Tracy Marie and I just spent an amazing four nights at a craft retreat where I was able to stamp to my heart's content. One major project that I completed was a set of cards for a holiday catalog swap. It ended up being perfectly timed for me to use them for this hop as well since our theme for the hop is also the holiday catalog. 

I used the Beautiful Blizzard bundle for both sets of cards, each project was 12 cards so I made a total of 24 cards. I chose two colors, Blueberry Bushel and Basic Gray. For the first card, the snowflakes were cut out of silver glimmer paper. The backgrouns was a random design created using four different stamps from the set. The large cloud, small cloud, small dots and the snowflakes. Each of the twelve completed cards were unique and of course the sentiment fits perfectly. I have to say that this particular project turned my fingers a nice bright blue!

I wanted to change it up for the second card, so I kept it clean and simple. But before I could start on it I had to clean EVERYTHING to ensure no blue ink ended up in the wrong place. All twelve of these cards were the same for the most part except I did vary the small and large snowflakes. These snowflaks were cut from Blueberry Bushel colored whisper white sheets.
