Butterfly Shabby Chic Birthday Card

Every year I have the pleasure of making Libby a very special birthday card. I craft with Libby once or twice a month and as the years go by I have the challenge of outdoing previous birthday cards. She loves pink so I have to decide what shades of pink. This year I went with my current favorite stamp set: Very Versailles. I made the background using three colors of pink and Crumb Cake. I toyed with using Pear Pizzazz for the leaves but decided I did not want the green to fight for the attention over the pinks. 

Libby and I made similar cards CASEing -> this pin, and I liked it so well I used it for my layout, but dressed it up with silver glimmer, enamel dots and clear rhinestones.
