After finishing six Tasteful Textures cards, I was more than ready to create something different. I decided to focus on the third and final display card for the Birch background stamp. Libby and I split this display, each contributing three cards. this was my third card and I've already blogged the first two (links to the articles at the bottom).

I wanted to make a Real Red and Pool...

Welcome to the October Stamp 'N Hop! Hub and I have been in our home area since June and one of our tasks to complete while here is to buy our "forever" truck. We have been using a 2004 Dodge RAM 3500 dual rear wheel truck from the beginning of our travels knowing it would need to be replaced in a few years - and here we are a few years later already!

We are on our second replacement...

Display - Tasteful Textures Suede Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

So, I'd decided to remove the Mossy Meadow Thankful card but I really liked the repeated shield background so decided to "CASE" that card, making a fancy birthday card using Soft Suede. The gold foil label is a Detailed Bands die. I snipped each side band into a short fish tail. I created a fabric band using the very wide trim from the Come To Gather ribbon combo pack. - Note: I colored the...

After creating 3 green cards in a row I finally had an idea for a fun Night of Navy snowman card. This was super easy to create. I started with a die cut piece of Night Of Navy cardstock cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Next that piece of cardstock was dry embossed using the Woodland embossing folder.

I used Blends to lightly color one of the snowmen images from the Snowman Season stamp set. I...

Christmas Tree - Display Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

After completing two green cards I started on a Christmas card. Next thing you know, I'd created a, you guessed it, a green background.

Starting with Mossy Meadow, I stamped a pattern and then used the Layered Leaves dry embossing folder.

Next I cut out the negative of the Tasteful Textures die that looks roughly like a christmas tree. I dry embossed the red with the Subtle...

While at my mom's I had to hussle and finish four Tasteful Texture cards for the NC Stampin' Up! Demo's quarterly get together. As I was finishing a Christmas theme design (Card #3) I realized too late that I used Mossy Meadow, making three green display cards, so this is the one I chose to omit. It is still a cute card however.

I like the So Saffron and Granny Apple Green mats. They...

The next set of posts will include the rest of my display projects. Libby lives full time in North Carolina and she has found a group of demonstrators that meet quarterly. Since she is my team leader and I am a full time traveler, without my own regional group, she invited me to help with display cards for their September meeting.

Here's the first card I created for the Tasteful...
