Purple And Orange Dragonfly Floral Friend Card

I wanted to create a project outside of my comfort zone in color, paper and card style. I challenged myself to start with a dark card base, fold the front down, I used Copic X-press IT for the floral image and then used vellum for the sentiment, leaves and dragonfly.
I also used metallic inks on the dark grey base in silver and copper. I wanted the floral image to float over the folded region. I used purple and orange mats on the front page and then reversed the colors for the inside mat so the card giver can write a message on the ligher orange mat. This is not my favorite project but will still be fun to give to someone since it is so unique.

I love what you've done here! The concept of the dark against those gorgeous flowers is truly stunning. I also really appreciated the details you included.
