Pine Trees Merry Christmas Card

This project uses masking to create snowy hills. It is now mid-year when I start to think about building up my Christmas card stash to avoid a late year flurry of card making. I hadn't tried this technique for some time and had Stampin' Up's Lovely As A Tree stamp set out. I kept the card very simple, no extra embellishing. I chose a sentiment from my Christmas sentiments and am not sure what set it is from, I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped the trees with Old Olive and masked the snowflakes using watercolor masking fluid. The hills were made using cut out cardstock and a sponge with Dapper Denim ink. The larger matt is a pattern snowflake cardstock from Michaels. I used my MISTI to apply the sentiment.
