3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
I've coveted the Holtz coneflower stamp (and die) for some time. On Saturday I had the privilege to hop into Joann's as it was next to WinCo where we went to get some bulk foods. They had their typical spend $35 get $5 off, also a 60% off a single full priced item. Holtz is now bundling a flower stamp set with a stencil. I chose it to be my full price item. I also bought some paper, ink and empty spritzer minis. I haven't researched if the flower die is an actual match, that can come later.
Once home I immediately stamped the coneflower using another new item, one of four metallic inks I also purchased - Brilliance Dew Drops. That random stamp ended up turning into a cute artistic card. The sentiment that it comes with double stamped on me (that's what I get for NOT breaking out my MISTI),and I liked how it looked. I added a light blue "sky" ombre effect as well as some watercolor distress stampings, a zigzag and a heart, they came from A Stampin' Up set. I used the stencil that came with it for more depth. I used Distress Inks and Distress Markers for the color. The DSP is from Core'Dinations and was $2 per pack at Joann's. I distressed the edges of the white and DSP and also left it vertical on my A2 card.
Distress Ink colors used:
Broken China
Mowed Lawn
Fired Brick
Mustard Seed
Spiced marmalade
Brushed Corduroy
Brilliance Ink colors used:
Lightning Black
Crimson Copper
I am entering this project in the following challenges:
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
I have invested in all distress ink colors. I use the one inch pads with reinkers to save on...
I use these all the time. Period:) I've now owned my set over 2 years and haven't had any dry...
This stamp set is great to mix with other sets. Use these for backgrounds, borders, edges.
I like this mix of coloring flowers (great for Copic Markers) as well as silhouettes.
This tool is a staple item for any crafter. It makes quick work of distressing paper edges.
Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!
