Beach And Flipflops Thanks Card

I had a sample chunk of watercolor paper that I used for testing the color choice for another project, then I stamped off the shell phrase on it real quick. Later I looked at it and thought...ooo this is pretty, The color I used is Memento Zeal Teal and is a re-inker that I dropped onto my craft mat and sprayed it with water. This chunk was placed face down on a portion of it that I'd spread around with a brush. I then dried the piece with a heatgun. I like how it came out and with so little effort. I decided that must make it into a CAS card. I also had a bunch of beachy die cuts, which because the phrase is about shells, I started with three shells, next the flipflops fit nicely and finally I liked the beach word die. I had already decided to inlay the B and the flipflops are also inlaid as part of their die. The phrase was stamped using Stampin' Ups Tip Top Taupe ink, and it is a Stampin' Up stamp. 

In the open space, I added the  sentiment that I need for use of this card. It is a thank you card and the bold white thanks fit perfectly. I applied it loosely so it floats a bit on the base nicely. I was torn on whether adding this die moved the card too far from CAS, but I would be adding the thanks in either case so decided to go for it.

I added the rhinestones to the straps and popped them up with dimensionals. The watercolor base is also popped up for more depth.
