Stampscapes Waterfall Creativity Card

Stampscapes Waterfall Creativity Card | Tracy Marie Lewis |

Day sixteen of the 30 day coloring challenge went well for me. I had my Stampscapes stamps out to finish labeling them. I write the name and ID in fine sharpie on the rubber of the stamp itself. It helps me keep track of exactly which stamps I own. Today while labeling I decided to pick out my least used and least favorite focal stamp to see if today, with my copics, I could do more with it. I have only done a couple of Stampscape scenes since I bought them, and of course I always use my favorite stamps, never the least favorite.

I've always struggled with the waterfall focal so today I used that. I ended up using the following stamps from top to bottom: Cascading Falls Lg 015G -stamped one time, Ledge 054F - stamped one time, Pine Tree 196F - one on each side, Pine Row 150F - multiple, filled in sides and along top (I did mask off the top and sides of the falls), Hanging Branch 355G multipls stampings along the sides, Reeds 067B - multiple along the bottom. Tip-Stampscapes letter code indicates its size, A is the smallest size (1" x 1/2") and G is the largest (3" x 4 1/2")

I did stamp the edge of the rubber 2x using the hanging branches stamp but used a white gel pen to hide the mistakes. Again because these stamps use your ink pad color for the images, you have to fill in the empty spaces with color, so it is a little different than a normal stamp coloring process. I used a sentiment that is more for me than for a card recipient, but I thought it was very clever in this case since I felt I was limiting myself to explore my creativity. I die cut, colored the sentiment using the Grasses colors listed below, and popped it up with dimensionals. I then cut and popped up an edge frame from the Lil' Inkers Dual Stitched Rectangles set.

For being my least favorite stamp, I thought Copics did a nice job of making this waterfall look like it was fun to color:)
