Ah, day seven of the coloring challenge and I finally pulled myself away from my Copic markers. I have not used colored pencils much since acquiring Copic markers so it was fun to pull them out of their dusty corner and put them to good use. I have a mix of sets from over 30 years old to present. I keep them all in a case. That case if quite fat now. I used Strathmore 400 series watercolor cold press block. I wonder if my paper choice was a bit too rough for the pencils. I did use my Spectrum Noir blender pen for some blending but I wanted to retain some of the pencil on the paper. I did some white highlights with white gel pen.

I had a completely different background in mind, but as with these things, the lovely striped background was way to smooth and clean for lack of a better description. I then went through my pads and found a black with tan lettering and scratches from a Prima Marketing Pad called "Time Traveler's Memories" which I tore and a match was made.

I had many yellow color choices for a mat and I used a black fiber to tie on a little tag that says: h.e.l.l.o.

Unfortunately, with the variety of pencils in my bag, I don't have a way to log which ones I used.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:
