Newton's Not Feline Well Card

Today coloring project was a bigger challenge. I thought I was ahead of the game!as  I'd colored the Newton stamped images yesterday and had come up with a rough layout. Today started with the discovery that I'd missed the first day of the hop 30 days of coloring hop...how I missed it I don't know. So I spent the morning painstakingly going through every single article looking at all the new stamps! So much coloring goodness. It was POURING out all morning and at about 2pm there was a lull in the downpour. I can tell because I live in a trailer and you can hear it loud and clear. So the second it got quiet I was out the door to take our old truck to consign in town at the small car lot (lovely people). Amazingly they were quite busy even though it was a rainy friday afternoon. I finished that arrangement up and didn't get home until after 4pm.

I relaxed a bit, had some dinner and it hit me... I need to finish today's coloring project! ACK! It's not too late, before 10pm but I'd like to be done for the day a bit earlier.

Now onto my card. Today for crafting I was at home and I pulled out my 6 x 6 crate which is full of an array of DSP. I decided that my rough design I'd come up with at my mom's was too boring.  I used Lil' Inkers Dual Stitched circle dies, then the scalloped circle is from Gina Marie and is new to me. The paper was sent to me from the Splitcoast Stampers Buy/Sell and someone was giving away paper for the price of shipping. I sponged the edges of the DSP and the Kraft CS using distress Ink iced spriue on the pattern paper and frayed burlap on the kraft. I wanted the edges dark not light.

I used StazOn black on the vellum and let it dry. Then wrinkled it trying to add some adhesive. Of course then I had to cover it with something, thus the three enamel dots. Finished! I must say when I craft at home I use every free surface because I like to move from station to station rather then rotate everything where I am sitting. Because of my bad back I need to get up often anyways. I also do NOT use my Cuttlebug sitting, that's bad news. I always stand at the kitchen counter. Once I finish I immediately put everything away so the kitchen can be a kitchen again:)
