I have a couple of backgrounds left from a crop in November where I made up a big collection of sponged backgrounds. I made this one for a masculine card. I just liked the blue to brown. For that crop I did not have my stash of woodland bits to try with it. I was pleasantly surprised when I put a prepped framed birch trees on this background and it went perfectly.

I sponged the deer with walnut stain and popped him up from behind a tree with dimensionals. I kept this card very simple. I used a lower case typewriter font sentiment for the happy birthday and popped it up with dimensionals as well.

Distress Ink colors:

Background: Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Walnut Stain

Deer: walnut Stain

Edge of tree frame: Hickory Smoke

Copic Sketch Markers:

Birch Trees: C1, C3, C5

Because we are currently living off the grid, I haven't investigated challenges for this card, but I wanted to get it posted asap. I will have full internet later today or tomorrow. It is just too cumbersome to figure out challenges on a cell phone.
