3M ATG Tape 1/4" General Use
If you use alot of tape, there is a knock-off brand out there. I've used it and it is only ok....
This card was made from the spare parts bins. I save bits and pieces in 4 x 6 photo cases. Periodically I will sift through them to make a card from the extras. I finally had a nice collection to make this winter scene. The stitched frame is a leftover from a 25 card swap I did last fall. It has been challenging to use these up. I keep a barebones woodland stash as I like to have birch trees colored and ready to go.
I had the extra snowy hills and embossed snow background in my Christmas spares and the bird, squirrel and birdhouse were in yet another case of kraft colored die cut spares. I have not found the perfect storage for extras and I have such a hard time throwing anything away. It doesn't help that I can make cards like this with leftover pieces which in itself I enjoy. This is almost like therapy for me when I get overwhelmed with making "new" cards. I can also go back through my stash, its akin to "comfort food".I added some leftover red baker's twine to go with the read heart birdhouse door. The twine is a little frayed, but that makes it all the sweeter.
Combining extra pieces into something this nice feels sort of magical, so that is how I came up with the sentiment. I did have to die cut the sentiment for this card.
Copic Sketch markers used:
Birch Trees: C1, C3, C5
Snow Banks: Stickles
