Copic Sketch Markers

I am officially in the midst of the "down" time portion of my winter break. Christmas and birthday festivities are over and because of our new minimalist living situation there isnt any putting away of decorations to be done. Yesterday I got up knowing I had no plans for the day except to binge watch Dexter seasons seven and eight. However I never just watch shows, I always need to have my hands busy doing something. So before sitting down, I got out my coloring book collection and had my hubby pick me out something to color. He chose the three dragons from The Official Game of Thrones Coloring Book.
I own a variety of coloring books and still purchase them now and again. The books range from The Secret Garden, animals, steampunk, Game of Thrones and I even have a Star Wars coloring book.
Image decided I then had to research the dragons and their coloring. Of course one would assume that the main dragon would be Drogon, however I've colored plenty of black dragons in my day so that did not appeal to me. Rhaegal is a green dragon with bronze accents and that was better, but I was drawn to Viserion, a creamy white dragon with gold accents. I read other descriptions that also referred to Viserion as a peachy white with gold. That is who I colored as the main focal point. I then added his name digitally at the bottom as well as my signature in gold because I wanted the contrast against the black rocks..
Here's the list of Copic Sketch Markers I used:
White: E000, E40, E42, E43, E50, E51, E81, W2, W3
Gold Accents: Y15, YY21, Y26, Y28, YR23, YR23
Tongue: R29
Rocks: N2 thru N8
Sky: B0000, B000
Drogon silhouette: T4
Rhaegal silhouette: YG91, YG93, YG95, Y28
I am entering this project in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes - it might be a stretch adding a coloring project that will not be turned into a card (the finished image is 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 or so)..
Because I've done all the research on Game of Thrones dragons, I've picked out the next coloring page, the dragons eggs. Attached is the page uncolored for you to see what a challenge I have ahead of me!
