Red Sweater Merry Christmas Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

I went to my 12 hour crop intending to work on some projects. What I like most about going is the camraderie with fellow crafters. One gal gave me a 6 x 6 dry embossed sweater that is a new Stampin' Up Embossing folder. Her mother was there and she had brought the folder so I was able to make a white and grey as well. I am still pondering their future. I wanted to make a horizontal card which meant using the red. I have a HUGE Scripty Merry Christmas I've not yet used so I cut that out in white to match a bunch of snowflakes I cut to go with the sentiment.

I did not embellish the card at all, keeping it a masculine option. I work with 2 gals and 7 men and in my family the only women are me, my mom and her sister, everyone else is male. So you see that I have to keep the ratio of masculine to feminie cards at 7 to 2 ish at all times.

I think the white and grey sweater embossed papers will also become masculine Christmas cards.

Love that embossed sweater as your background, Tracy!  It mixes nicely with your snowflakes and bold sentiment!  Thanks for playing along with us once again at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

And may I ask you to forego the extras needed to comment here?  When we have hundreds of cards to comment on, we need a system that works fast!  Thanks for considering my request.
