Last Valentine - The Most Special One Of All!
Before time gets away from me I wanted to post this project. On February 13th, in the late afternoon, I placed all of my Valentine supplies on Hub's desk with some Whisper White card front blanks. The last card I recall Hub creating was for my birthday a couple of years back.
I also gave Hub a container of Paper Pumpkin Spots as they are all very juicy. My own Spots are lovingly worn and most need reinking.
He took the bait and created this wonderful card. He put it on my table and I picked it up to look at it, then set it down and noticed that the Blackberry Bliss (tiny hearts) had smeared. I let it sit to dry.
Later I put it in my trimmer to trim a little off for a mat and that darn Blackberry Bliss smudged again, this time it was a bigger mess. So out came my heart dies folder that is full of extra die cut hearts. I placed a variety of them carefully to cover the smears.
Yes, my husband gave me a bad time for giving him defective product to work with. So this is today's lesson, watch out for juicy Blackberry Bliss ink pads and be ready to sponge the extra ink off prior to stamping! I love my husband's project. It is hanging up over the kitchen.
Hub used two retired stamp sets: "Heart Happiness" and "Flowering FIelds" as well as January's Paper Pumpkin stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!
