December Birth Month Poinsettia Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

My birth month is December and I am in flower making mode so I formed these petals that I cut from the Stampin' Up Blossom Builder Punch. I've added a picture  below showing which petals I used where. I sponged the edges of the flowers with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I really worked them, forming veins first the breaking down the fibers and finishing up using tweezers to curl the edges. I used DCWV 12x12 paper. I like how the paper ended up with a glossy surface. I then used bronze beads for the center, applying the leaves and the beads with Glossy Accents. I used a bronze metallic base that I ran through my Big Shot in an embossing folder. I may use this for a December birthday so did not put a sentiment on it. I am entering this card in the Splitcoast Stamper Mixability Challenge Mix159 - birth month flowers.

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!
