Ombre Wash Dragonfly Note Card

After making an inky mess with Libby making sprinkled looking backgrounds, she suggested we CASE a card that uses a watercolor wet brush technique. Our challengs was simple stamping stepped up. So I used Melon Mambo sprinkls and I found that the lighter the wash, the more soft peach it became. You can see some peach brushstrokes - yes those came from the one color of sprinkles even though it looks like two. My wash ended up a lovely ombre effect.
I only used three black stamped images and finished the project off with a thin Melon Mambo mat, orange twine and glitter dots. I attached it to a black base and like its artistic simplicity.
