May 2019 - Colour Combo Blog Hop - Balmy Blue, Mango Melody, Blackberry Bliss

Thank you for joining me today for the May Colour Combo blog hop. This month's colors were challenging. Because my husband and I have an inside joke about the color "Blackberry Bliss" I decided to further challenge myself and make our 29th Anniversary card with these colors, very non-traditional, but my husband and I are not traditional people. 

I used all of my favorite products and thought it turned out quite nice!  The Lace embossed Blackberry Bliss background gives it a sort of "fancy" feel to offset the bright colors. I enjoy the challenge of designing with dies and used dies from four different die sets

Note: The lace edge on the hearts is a sold our retiring die set that was part of "Dear Doily". After the design came together I stamped a pretty anniversary sentiment on Balmy Blue, added some velvet ribbon and rhinestones and hung it on our wall.
