Elegant Brown Birthday Card - Tasteful Textures Display Project #4

So, I'd decided to remove the Mossy Meadow Thankful card but I really liked the repeated shield background so decided to "CASE" that card, making a fancy birthday card using Soft Suede. The gold foil label is a Detailed Bands die. I snipped each side band into a short fish tail. I created a fabric band using the very wide trim from the Come To Gather ribbon combo pack. - Note: I colored the trim with a dark Soft Suede Blends marker to achieve the darker brown I was after.

I chose to leave the shield background smooth, instead the large base mat was dry embossed with the new holiday catalog Stylish Scroll embossing folder.

It has lovely smaller magnolia flower stamps and the font does coordinate with its big brother stamp set "Good Morning Magnolia" stamp set. Magnolia Blooms is $14 and Good Morning Magnolia is $36.
