I liked the card I made for my cousin so well that I made another. This time I wanted to make a wood grain background with a white tree. I used red and blue birds for a splash of color. I made a photo frame using a dual stitched square die to get the stitching on the outside of the die cut.

I liked having the wood grain background act as a mat so I left 1/8" of it all around the "photo...

I decided today was going to be a coloring day. I pulled out my thick file of printed and stamped Copic coloring images. These are all on Copic Coloring cardstock, so either Neenah Solar Crest or Copic Blending Card X-Press It.

I'd already reviewed this week's challenges and wanted to enter the Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #51 - Tropical Theme. I always have some Newton's...

This project is so me! I bought this Stampin' Up stamp set as soon as I saw it. I was already living full time in our trailer at my mom's. I was still working but knew I would be hitting the road very soon. This set does not come with matching dies but I've been able to fussy cut as needed on other projects.

This time I wanted to create a scene and NOT fussy cut, so I did. I started...

I needed a masculine birthday card for my cousin. I knew I wanted to use the tree from Thoughtful Branches which was a special release stamp and die set made by Stampin' Up last fall.

I created an ombre background using Distress inks and Brilliance Metallic inks. I've had the Metallic Inks for many years now, I bought them for holiday cards, I made a HUGE supply of holiday cards and...

Delta Shores Resort - We're Heading North | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

We packed up in the scorching heat at San Benito. It was a very slow break down of camp starting on Monday which was well over 100 degrees. Even in the shade it was hot with very little breeze. We washed the truck, cleaned and organized our storage spaces as we went along. Living in one place for three weeks ensures we camp creep, pulling out an inordinant amount of "stuff" and that then leads...

Map Of Our Trip | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

As part of our retirement planning, I created a map to guide us on our first journey. We left on March 15th and knew that we would have to be back in the Monroe, Washington area by Sept. 7 for my crafting retreat. I based the map on my experience with traveling during our working years, and because of this it was way too ambitious. We had been warned to not travel too fast when first going...

Here is another quick and easy tip for you, You can buy hook and loop sticky strips (also known as Velcro). Cut them to about 1cm square. The foam circles happen to be about 1" round and will fit nicely inside the back of the 1" cubes. I am sure you can also attach them to the larger ink pads as well, but it might change where you locate them depending on how you stack them.

I keep my...

Brown And Blue Floral Friend Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

For today's project I used a Stampin' Up stamp set that I think it make such pretty cards. It has a unique sentiment "FRIEND" that I plan to use for these projects as I need cards to send to my friends back home. I decided this one would be on tan cardstock with aged brown edges and some random brown splatters round the edges. I colored the flowers with Copic Sketch marker colors: B00, B01 and...
