It feels so good to be back in the Copic saddle again! I bought a few digi stamps from Power Poppy back in November but our printer would not feed thick cardstock. Then of course the unimaginable happened when we lost our home which meant that I never did get to color those beautiful stamps I'd bought.

We are staying at Hub's parents and their printer feeds my cardstock so of course the...

Using The Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

I made this card from start to finish without premaking or doing a rough layout/template in advance. I wanted to illustrate how the creative process works and demonstrate changes that are made in real time to get to that perfect finished project. Video Length 12 min 24 sec.

I have entered this project in the following challenges:

Storage Series - Saving Space By Using Copic Markers To Color Your Embellishments | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

When we were planning our lifestyle change to living full time in an RV, I knew I had to minimize my embellishments. I had a dedicated craft space that was quite large with floor to ceiling storage. This storage also extended into one of the bedrooms. Ribbon was a biggie for me because I had so much of it. I own a full set of Copic Sketch Markers which are a big investment and I have...

Coloring Is My Passion | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Day twenty six of the 30 day coloring challenge has me continuing to play with Holtz blueprints stamps. Today's project is a stretch, and it might end up for me, but I can think of a couple of friends who would appreciate it. I used my MISTI mini to repeatedly stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut out the crayon blueprint stamp and popped it up for dimension. The phrase was colored with...

Now I am on to day five of the coloring challenge and I am still going strong. We are discussing our departure date which might put a damper on my coloring time. It seems were just about finished with prep for our slow travel journey and  we suspect that by the 15th we will be in travel mode. I have noticed a "type" of coloring that has a very vivid focal with a dark edge and background that...

So Happy For You Floral Card in Copic | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

I made two floral frames. This is the first attempt at using thick dies for coloring. The first one I made with stacked watercolor paper, a second stack of 4x dies using Neenah Classic Crest. I matched the watercolors I'd used on the first project to equivalent Copics for this project. Because I use Copice for all of my coloring, I found it much quicker and less messy to use them. I feel that...

A Sweet Wish Ice Cream Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Now that my Valentine cards are complete it is time to make something just for fun. I used the SplitCoast Stampers Color Challenge for this week. I then added Clear Rock Candy Stickles on top of the ice Cream to give it a shiny appearance. I used the Copic Blender pen extensively to bring out highlights in the Ice Cream and the cone as well as the background.

I just received two Penny...

I am officially in the midst of the "down" time portion of my winter break. Christmas and birthday festivities are over and because of our new minimalist living situation there isnt any putting away of decorations to be done. Yesterday I got up knowing I had no plans for the day except to binge watch Dexter seasons seven and eight. However I never just watch shows, I always need to have my...

[Warning: This is a very long post!]

I've been in love with Copic Markers since I discovered them a little more than a year ago. I feel like I am late to the party on every level of papercrafting and my aha moment with Copics came sometime early last year. I am thinking back now to when I first decided,"OMG will you look at the vibrant colors that this line of markers produces!". It...

Daffodil March Flower CAS Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

For this project I actually read the challenges and understood the one to be CAS (Clean and Simple). However try as I might, I was just not satisfied with anything really simple and this was the closest I could get.

Another Challenge that inspired this project is this weeks Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Inspired by a song. It so happens theres a pretty current dance song in 70s...
