Happy Easter Summer Pony and Bunny Card
I colored this on Sunday during a big wind storm. I don't have any children in my life that would appreciate this type of card so I will send it to my mom. The pony is the same color as her Rocky Mountain horse. That mousy color with blond mane and tail normally only found in ponies, is one of the key characteristics of a Rocky Mountain horse (picture of one shown below).
I colored this image in our new trailer so I was very quick to pack all the colors away as soon as I'd finished. Below I reference the colors as best I can recall. After coloring, I did go in with a bit of white gel pen. It seems when I stamped this image I used a brand of paper that does bleed easily.
I have a container full of paper flowers, vines and leaves. I used a Spellbinder vine and put some Impression obsession flowers in pink and yellow in place on the vine. I have a Spellbinders aster die that long ago I'd made these elaborate lavender pom pom flowers and found that one fit nicely at the bottom right corner. The lace is a from a lace pack from Hobby Lobby. I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes. I thought this came out oh so cute!
