June 2018 Colour Combo Blog Hop - Anniversary Card

Welcome to the June Colour Combo hop. My name is Tracy Marie and I travel full time in the U.S.A with my husband. Currently we are staying at a beautiful campground in the Pacific Northwest. I am amazed at the lush greenery at this campground. Someone forged trails up the hillside that are so lush and green I feel like I am in the Amazon as I walk them.

Ironically, this month doesn't even include green, but you can see I added just a smidge of Soft Sea Foam on my project. The colors this month are Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink.

I made a video walking through the creation of my sister-in-law's anniversary card. When I made the video I wasn't sure I was going to use this card for her anniversary, but soon after filming I gave it the thumbs up and have included the finished version in the photos. Many times I will leave the sentiment until I figure out what the project will be used for. I know it is silly to hold back on the sentiment, after all it is so easy to just make another card right?

I feel that the new faceted dots are very striking but my first picture didn't do them justice. Here is a close up showing the faceting. In real life these are a rich looking faceted gemstone.
