Floral Congrats - How I made This Finished Card

I created a video explaining how I created a floral card a couple of weeks back. The result of that video is a series of card fronts made using Beautiful Friendship in a variety of colors. I spent time this weekend making them into cards. Today's card is trimmed with 1/8" vertical Melon Mambo peeking out the sides. Tip: As I was matting these cards I made sure to cut out the middle of the mat layer with one of my nested shaped dies to use on something later. I know cost-wise the savings is minimal, for me it is more that I do not like to waste perfectly good material.

I finished this project with the Polka Dot trim that looks like a bow but it is actually just two layers knotted to keep the card from becoming too bulky for mailing. I mail most of my cards these days so I am always thinking of ways to keep my projects as flat as possible.

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave comments or questions, I am here to help!
