Happy Birthday Wood Flowers Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Last saturday I attended our local spring Stamp Camp. I was so tired once home that I fell asleep and missed the Creative Cat Crew color challenge that week. Today is the only day that I can work on March Paper Pumpkin alternatives thus possibly jeapordizing a second week of participating. So, after completing a set of alternatives I thought I would see if this week's colors were a close enough match to use the kit pieces and it was!. Here are this week's challenge #49 colors: Daffodil Delight, Garden Green and Very Vanilla and here is the inspiration image

I used a variety of elements from the March Paper Pumpkin kit including the Happy BIrthday sentiment, the included Stampin Spot "Early Espresso", a yellow floral die cut and a yellow dotted sticker. I supplied the Garden Green, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilly cardstock.

I used the sticker under a thin strip of satin ribbon colored using light Daffodil Delight blend marker. A bonus set of wood floral embellishments came in the kit as a thank you gift. I arranged a selection of wood pieces around the flower die cut. I finished it off with rhinestones. The top two layers are popped up as well as the flower die and sentiment.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:
