Brusho Flower Bouquet Birthday Card | Tracy Marie Lewis | www.stuffnthingz.com

Back at the March craft retreat I made a set of Brusho'ed backgrounds. I have slowly used them one by one, and now there are two left. One of them has texture paste on it. Today I brought the textured background out (for what seems like the millionth time) and I told myself I would do something with it.

I noticed a challenge that fit this background which gave some direction.  It requires choosing two of the options, but I decided to use all three. I decided on the happy birthday sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet. I heat embossed it in white directly on the watercolor background layer.

In the same storage case as the background was a lovely white floral die cut from the Flourishes thinlits die set and a Balmy Blue A2 size piece of cardstock that has been textured with the Subtle embossing folder. I liked how they looked together and took the opportunity to make some room for new bits to be stored for later use.

From there, the next choice was to add color or make all floral elements white. Color sounded nice, and since this isn't a color challenge, I was able to pick any color I want, which ended up being Grapefruit Grove and Calypso Coral floral bunches with sprigs in silver foil.

I added alot of dimension curling up various die cut elements, followed by attaching them with dimensionals for even more height and interest. I finished it off with clear rhinestones and white ribbon with silver trim.

Well done on combining all three challenge options Tracy, that background is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing at Just Add Ink.

The Brusho's and Embossing Paste make a lovely unique background. I love all the speckly bits in it too. Lovely card. Chantell Just Add Ink
