Snowman Let It Snow Card - Birch Display Project #3
After finishing six Tasteful Textures cards, I was more than ready to create something different. I decided to focus on the third and final display card for the Birch background stamp. Libby and I split this display, each contributing three cards. this was my third card and I've already blogged the first two (links to the articles at the bottom).
I wanted to make a Real Red and Pool Party snowman card like this seasons DSP. I stamped up Pool Party with the Smoky Slate Birch stamp two times, dry embossed Real Red cardstock with the Scripty embossing folder and cut a strip of Sparkle glimmer paper.
I wanted to stay away from the standard four sided matting and went with left side matting of Real Red and Sparkle glimmer.
I accented the snowman with Pool Party blends markers and Ice Stampin' glitter.
After experimenting with a couple of different bows, I settled on Polka Dot Toille trim and added white sequins. And here's a picture of all six cards, the top are mine, the bottom Libby's.
