Howdy from the Pacific Northwest! We have finally had quite a bit of rain in the last week. Overall it has been very dry this summer so the rain is much needed. We have been staying at the Mount Vernon and Birch Bay Thousand Trails, both are great Thousand Trails to visit. Each has its own unique charm.

After making an inky mess with Libby making sprinkled looking backgrounds, she suggested we CASE a card that uses a watercolor wet brush technique. Our challengs was simple stamping stepped up. So I used Melon Mambo sprinkls and I found that the lighter the wash, the more soft peach it became. I cannot believe that it is already September! Typically hub and I would be prepping for travel to somewhere south for the winter. However, this year we plan to limit our travels and will stay in the Pacific Northwest along the coast. My fingers are crossed for a mild winter!

The day I made this was an ink messy day! Libby and I made some backgrounds using the new Pigment Sprinkles watercolor crystals. The sprinkles are so fun to work with.
